Dr. Taylor grew up in Staunton, Virginia and attended Virginia Tech, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then went on to the School of Dentistry at the Medical College of Virginia of Virginia Commonwealth University, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
After completing dental school, Dr. Taylor served as a dental officer in the United States Army, stationed at Fort Hamilton in New York. His military service instilled a discipline and commitment to service that he brought with him when he and his family moved to Crozet to open his own practice. In September 1975, he opened the doors of what would become Crozet Family Dental on Three Notch’d Rd — and he has been serving this community ever since.
